This wheel clips directly onto the wireframe of the bottom rack, acting as the rolling foundation that supports the weight of heavy plates, bowls, and cookware. Over time, exposure to high heat, harsh detergents, and heavy loading stress can cause the plastic to become brittle, resulting in the wheel snapping off, cracking, or losing its axle clip.
