This genuine OEM lint filter and housing kit is an updated dryer configuration that includes both the lint filter housing and the compatible lint filter. It is required on certain Frigidaire-built dryers that no longer support the earlier standalone lint screen design. All components in this kit must be installed together for proper operation. Once installed, future lint filter replacements can be made using the included filter style. A damaged or outdated lint housing can lead to restricted airflow, poor drying performance, overheating, or lint bypassing the filter system.
