Details

This replacement drain pump fluff filter, also known as a coin trap, is an authentic OEM component engineered for select front-load washing machines. Positioned directly inside the drain pump housing, it traps stray debris, coins, pins, and excess lint before they can enter and damage the pump impeller or clog the drainage system. Over time, the filter can become packed with foreign material or crack from physical impacts inside the chamber. A failing or severely clogged filter will lead to slow draining, water remaining in the tub at the end of a cycle, loud humming or grinding noises during drain phases, or drainage error codes on the display. Routinely clearing or replacing a cracked filter ensures proper water flow and optimal pump performance.
