This genuine OEM water inlet tube delivers fresh water from the supply line directly into the ice maker mold assembly inside the freezer compartment. It ensures the water stream fills the freezing tray cleanly without spraying inside the cabinet liner. Over time, mineral scale buildup can clog the narrow pathway, or residual water can freeze inside, blocking the flow entirely. Physical stress may also crack the plastic tube. Symptoms of failure include an ice maker failing to fill, small or malformed cubes, or water dripping inside the freezer and creating frost sheets.
