Purpose
Seals the transmission case in a stand mixer.
Details
This genuine OEM gasket is designed for select stand mixers offered under the KitchenAid and Whirlpool brands. Located between the mixer’s motor-gearcase assembly and the outer housing, it prevents lubricant from escaping the gearcase and keeps dust, flour, and other debris from entering the gearing area. If the gasket is worn, cracked, or missing, you may observe oil/grease seepage around the base, increased noise from the gearing, or contamination of the internal gears — all of which can lead to premature wear or failure of the drive system. Replacing this gasket restores a proper seal and prolongs the life of your mixer’s transmission system.
