Part W10900067 Thermal Cut-Off / High-Limit Fuse Kit
Purpose
Protects dryer heater from overheating
Details
This is the genuine OEM thermal cut-off and high-limit fuse kit used in many Whirlpool-family electric dryers. The cut-off permanently opens if temperatures exceed safe limits; the high-limit thermostat regulates high temperature during operation. Typical failure signs include no heat, dryer shutting off mid-cycle, or overheating. Replacing this kit restores safe heat control and prevents damage to internal components.
Included Items
One thermal cut-off fuse and one high-limit thermostat.
