The WPW10468559 door shelf bar is a genuine OEM component designed for select Whirlpool-family refrigerators. It secures attachments on the inside of the refrigerator door and helps keep bottles, jars and other stored items upright and properly contained. When the shelf bar cracks, bends, becomes loose or fails to anchor properly, stored items may shift, the door may not seal correctly, or the bin may detach. Replacing the bar restores proper storage support and door functionality.
