The WP2220458 is a genuine OEM drive coupling (also called a “drive cam”) used in many Whirlpool ice dispenser systems. It mounts between the auger motor shaft and the ice container auger, transferring rotational motion so ice can be dispensed through the door. A failed or broken coupling results in no ice being dispensed even though the motor may run. Installing a fresh coupling restores proper drive transmission and reliable ice delivery.
